A unique and engaging non-fire cooking activity recently unfolded at The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society School (ISC), commencing with an exciting inter-team competition. Six teams initially vied for the top spot across three rounds themed around “First Light Flavours” and “Moonlight Meals,” showcasing their culinary ingenuity without the use of heat. Team comprising Vanshika Desai, Keshvi Vora, Dhara Mehta, and Shreya Gupta emerged victorious, demonstrating exceptional skill and creativity.
Building on this initial success, the competition has evolved into a dynamic weekly activity. Every Saturday, two different groups of students now take on the challenge of preparing dishes using only non-fire cooking techniques. Their creations are meticulously evaluated based on several key criteria: presentation, plating aesthetics, innovative use of ingredients, and the overall health benefits of their dishes. This ongoing initiative fosters teamwork, encourages culinary exploration, and promotes an understanding of healthy eating habits among the students. By transforming a one-off competition into a regular event, The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society School (ISC) has created a vibrant platform for students to express their creativity and learn valuable life skills in a fun and engaging manner.
