On October 4, 2024, The Bhawanipur Gujarati Education Society School ISC hosted an interclass drama competition featuring Class XI students performing scenes from William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth.” The event showcased the students’ talents and creativity, as they brought the classic tragedy to life through powerful performances. Each class selected key scenes, including the witches’ introduction, Lady Macbeth’s relentless ambition, and Macbeth’s descent into ambitious thoughts. The students displayed impressive acting skills, effectively conveying the play’s intense emotions and themes of power and guilt.
The atmosphere was electric, with peers and teachers eagerly supporting the performers. After each act, the audience applauded enthusiastically, reflecting their engagement and appreciation for the hard work put in by the students.
